going through my onboarding week at /morpho, meaning consuming A LOT of new information. Mental approaches I try to follow: reading first principles > reading proxy (white paper vs blog post) learning by doing > theorizing understanding > memorizing

i think the worst thing about ai reply bots on farcaster is that they make you second-guess any replies w unbridled support and enthusiasm, which are awesome qualities to bring to your replies

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. There is no substitute for hard work.

Massimo Vignelli‘s Canon Massimo Vignelli is an icon of modernist design, famous for his design of the New York Subway signage system. Here is a book with excerpts of his work and insights into his approach. This book can serve well as an overview for design enthusiasts and beginners. I made a short thread about his life and work a few months ago. I will link it below. Ebook: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/rationale-design.com/resources/vignelli-canon/Vignelli+-+Canon.pdf

Found these magnetic locks a month back for kid proofing. They’re invisible, lightweight and work much better than clips.

I've been asking gpt way more questions via voice recently, I cover way more distance and it's more fluid—even when having to press enter all of the time. When the new voice experience comes out I might be full time yapping.

Removing public likes has: 1) Made me realize I'm a snoop. I found lots of interesting stuff in the likes tab of people I know. Great way to quickly find "more like this" when you discover someone new. Now I bounce and don't engage. 2) Immediately made me more tribalistic. I am much more likely to smash like on pumps and dunks from "my team" since only the author sees my embarrassing behavior. Neither seems good!
