I get the sentiment, and it resonates. But I could imagine an equally inspiring quote about being willing to embrace new ideas, and pivoting. 

I think the hard thing is to know when to keep pushing on “the one thing,” and when you need to be open to exploring new ideas.

That makes sense. Once you have momentum, don’t lose it by getting distracted.

You have to explore to find the thing. I’m mostly talking about once the thing starts working, stay more focused than ever for longer to get to real scale.
