nice write up. content coins are actually a new thing. zora is the first platform to adopt them. letting the market be the algorithm is very interesting. i don't think we're quite there yet, but on to something. incentives need to align. ask yourself, why do you want to buy an instagram post? answer: you don't. but if the proper flywheels were in place then maybe you would. right now there's no flywheel. you buy early and maybe you can sell for a higher price. thats the end of the cycle. but what if i'm buying content coins from the top creators on the internet and i keep earning fees on additional content they drop? starts getting more interesting. think about current incentive defi flywheels and add those to the social context. https://x.com/1CrypticPoet/status/1913293143262335416

Probably buying content coins, then, with expectation of future content hits: content people actually WOULD want to collect. Or a connection to some other revenue source. This is why I think “collection coins” makes much more sense than “content” or “creator” coins. The creator gets to decide what basket of content this coin is defined by, and the economic incentives involved. And most creators or artist don’t want a “creator coin” that is supposed to represent them, in some abstract way.
