I have been toying with the idea of a Hypersub subscription based on my /books reading list. However, my previous experience with Substack (I wrote a weekly newsletter for ~2 years) makes me hesitate. Towards the end the newsletter became less fun, but I felt obligated to keep going since I had paying subscribers.

Reading and writing are very different. I once released an e-book. There were many difficulties that were different from what I thought
