something like waku's Symmetric encryption https://js.waku.guide/docs/guides/04_encrypt_messages_version_1/. 

Although I suspect the simplest implementation is similar to Mastodon where keys are stored on each instance. The drawback is the owner is able to decrypt the messages.

Yo this is fun. A lot of the messy bits have been addressed with @XMTP, like E2EE…I'm curious what's missing for you that could see your solution built on top of it!

been thinking about this for DAO representatives to be able to get an official email with DAO owned domain.  Super interested in this, and think with like a ENS/Mail3 integration is an untapped market currently.
