This was the first book I read in 2024 and was my favorite book I read all year. I highly recommend it.

When We Cease to Understand the World also good

I loved Labtut’s other major work When We Cease so much that I bought the Maniac in England to have it shipped to the US ~10 days before it was released here. I’ve looked for a year for other books like them, but there is nothing obvious. Best I found was the 3 Body trilogy

Good read for sure. Have you read When We Cease to Understand the World? Both a great but the latter was one of the most addicting books I’ve read in the past couple years.
