We’re not preparing students for the future. we’re preparing them for jobs that won’t exist. And everyone knows it.

Seems we agree on many issues. The misalignment of work and learning is one of the great travesties of our time. We’ve can teach cars to drive themselves but are unable to properly align people with meaningful pathways through work and education.

100% with you. The counter argument goes, "we don't teach just for jobs we teach for knowledge" which might be okay - but then you think about how uninformed and unknowledgeable people are and you realize we're not teaching for either. Admittedly, as a former homeschooled kid, I'm biased.
