Truth is that drug developers have to run expensive studies, pay for expensive manufacturing, and large regulatory, medical, and technical staff for years for many drugs. Problem is that if US isn’t price gouged, companies do not have a market large enough to be profitable.

I’ve worked in academia and industry since completing my PhD, mostly in medical affairs managing research collaborations, currently deeply embedded in trial data strategy at a company that serves virtually all of the largest biopharma companies.

i often think of going back to school for my doctorate but am so lazy! i finished my masters right when covid hit. lol put my degree to use pretty quickly and not by choice lmao!!! hence no work for 2 yrs. i hate the system!!

well you have a very important job and respect to you for real. that is not easy thing to accomplish at that scale! i just hope that the fucking government can start to fucking work together for a solution. healthcare is not free market goods. sensible regs! and rid of old outdated laws!!!
