post-reading jonathan haidt, time to play devil's advocate current web2 social: like/reply-performance algo -> increased unhealthy social comparison -> increased anxiety, polarization, depression the core design elements of most web3 social is $, which can bring out even worse in people and this is good? discuss :)

We can't look to tech to fill in the gaps in our social immaturity, shortcomings, inexperience, etc. Tech can't ensure or enforce virtue. But ownership is an inherent good because it creates self- autonomy and agency. That's not necessarily web3>2, but web3 = higher likelihood of ownership.
