these are all headlines from the last two months.

millennials rebelled against religion and now gen z is rebelling against the nihilism that the millennial rebellion left behind.

One of the other fascinating shifts in Gen Z religious practice is a shift back towards smaller, more local community and service. That's not to say mega-churches are going away, but I'm seeing a lot of Gen Z folks meeting in coffee shops and house churches. There's also an embrace of more "traditional" values and gender roles, at least here in the midwest.

I don't have the time to study this anymore (my BA was in religious studies and I was fascinated with the "why" behind people's beliefs and the society that shaped them). It's really interesting and I wish I could explore it more, though!
