Update: I got a yoga mat and a 30lb kettlebell. Slowly getting there. What other cheap basement workout gear do you love?

Honestly body weight exercises can go an awfully long way, you don't necessarily _have_ to have equipment at all. But, if you are feeling good about your base core strength (planking, crunches, side planks all very doable) you could add an ab-roller - it's one of my favorite torture devices.

🤔 hadn't even considered an ab roller but that's a good catch. Core is alright but I want to get it more developed for climbing. Thanks for the tip!
