Do you incorporate plyometrics in your training ? Doing stuff like this will work on your Achilles tendon (stiffen it) so you can be more explosive, jump higher, run faster etc. Just like anything new, itβs got to be done gradually and progressively over timeβ¦. So be patience ππ½ quality over quantity.

No, I don't have any reason to... You emphasized the point perfectly though. If you are doing something functional in which you want to increase "explosiveness" etc... Then yes these are perfect. I'm too broke for π₯ 22 π

You may not have a specific reason to, but I would say it's good to try incorporate so that if you ever found trip over, or find yourself having to jump off something then you would have trained your knees to absorb the force and achilles to react/rebound. Think of it as being ready for anything, working on fast twitch muscle movements have also been shown to keep you young! If you don't use it, you lose it.

Definitely a firm believer that you don't use it, you lose it As long as you're active you're good... Yes it's good to do but we can't do everything so I lock what's going to do all of those minor with my major exercises.
