One thing I find frustrating: how criminally underrated comedies are. You can especially see this in movies with great jokes and weak plots (Step Brothers -> 3.4 on Letterboxd) compared to movies with great action scenes and weak plots (John Wick 4 -> 3.8)

Not saying action movies are bad! Instead saying, don't pay attention to how people rate comedies!

That make me think of all the TERRIBLE plot movies I've seen but I find them funny AF anyway. šŸ¤” šŸ˜‚ sometimes when movies are BAD, they're great comedies unintentionally e.g. Showgirls

Maybe it's easier for people to appreciate great action than comedy. Also comedy might be more hit or miss. For example, I personally didn't care much for Step Brothers (and other Will Farrell movies that people love).
