I'm starting to see more XMTP-based use cases onchain org communications. Eg DAO communication framework built on XMTP, exposed through @converseapp and enhanced through a DAO-specific AI chatbot using @decentai. The DAO maintains an ENS <dao>.decentgpt.eth and includes it in all XMTP-based comms interfaces.

Yeah I’m looking forward to some arrangement whereby XMTP functions permissionlessly, at the expense of the noise from bots/spam, but that this noise is screened out at the application/client layer, e.g. via allowlisted DMs. Haven’t used converse though, so I should check that out.
