Starting to look for something new, ideally a product role. But moving from management consulting after nine years is proving difficult.

I’ve been a product leader several times, for major clients, but this doesn’t seem to resonate with hiring teams.

Anyone have advice for / experience with this type of move?

More product generally but I’d prefer fintech as a vertical. So that could be a Neo bank, payments in a Big Tech, etc. Something with a little scale / maturity is preferred. So the Stripes, Blocks, Coinbases of the world.
