you can do this with most email servers. But be warned that some signups won't let you use a +. I used to use this for when I signed up for a product, like:
[email protected]
so if they ever sold my email to spammers, I could see who did it. Now I just have my own domain.

yeah but this was trivial to scrape the emails without the characters after the + 20 years ago, any software worth a lick would just bypass this. apple has HIDEMYEMAIL now that works better for privacy , but not for remembering which email you used for which account (that's the only thing better using the + method)
