You think so? I feel like California is both about innovation, but people seem very anti-tech there with their views on the tech gentrification of cities, allowing theft and home invasions, etc. I get weird barbell society vibes from them.

I think at a high level people viewed the wealth and boom of tech as this “advanced society” that is hyper liberal. Ironically, these guys (a16z) are king makers out there backing Trump. 

It’s very counter culture given what the media and liberals spent the last 8 years doing
