I have to admit, TT is very hard for me to fit into my theoretical frameworks: - many competitors/close substitutes exist - not coercive or physically addictive - you don't miss out on some important 'conversation' if you delete the app and, the antidote to war is for both sides to see each other more empathetically

It is highly addictive, to say otherwise misunderstands addiction. there aren’t real competitors. power law dictates monopoly. over 50% of gen z gets its primary news from tiktok. very much a fomo.
