Warpcast has a lock-in feature that no other client can replicate (right now). Direct Casts. I really liked @nook but kept coming back to Warpcast for DCs and eventually it became a muscle memory.

Based on your feedback at Farcon, we bumped up making DCs interoperable immediately thereafter. And decentralizing channels. :)

For sure, suprised alt clients didn’t start offering users to send DCs through their accounts (Read not in APIs yet)

that's because this is not possible yet. the current programmable dcs spec only allows sending dcs from a specific account based on an api key. it's only meant for notifications and broadcasts. https://warpcast.notion.site/Public-Programmable-DCs-v1-50d9d99e34ac4d10add55bd26a91804f
