School was awesome. Spent the whole time meeting dogs and getting treats from everyone. Unfortunately, I was not offered a spot in the gifted program. But my parents say that’s ok—apparently, you can get something called neurotic perfectionism or crippling people-pleasing from it, which I must not be vaccinated for yet.

I enjoyed reading this. Glad you’re doing well. Many gifted individuals aren’t accepted into the gifted program.
