They had more social pressure than our generation I guess. Deconstructing the "nuclear family" model could lead to more solidarity between people (rather than "only parents can take care of kids")

This is a very interesting take. Families expanded to include more than a nuclear family of two parents plus their kids. I am seeing more.. I guess they could be called community families made of extended family and friends, all playing a role to support children.

Yes 🙂 and ultimately, it will lead to more freedom for everyone and a more diverse education for kids. The more I see friends doing and discussing it around me.. the more I see the benefits with their kids (more trust, more feeling sharing, more curiosity and communication) There's also the fact that our generation struggle to achieve the "American dream" with the house + dog + car combo
