I have auto allos for several savings accounts that are general - big purchases or travel or gifts - without specifics in mind.

The buckets help me budget for things I spend the most on. And they help me say yes. 

Last minute trip with a friend? Sure, because I have money set aside to spend guilt free for trips.

Sister needs a loan? Sure, because I have money set aside for gifts. Etc.

Growing veggies for the fine folks of Southeastern Massachusetts, w/ a focus on nutrient quality. Always interested in the evolution of digital payments.  🎩 

Thanks! It's working pretty well, especially the gifts account. If it accumulates a bunch, I donate some to charity.

Having them spread across different banks is fun because I don't see them until I need them, and the money seems to accumulate faster that way.
