Pretty disappointed that I let myself get to this point tbh, I was in a great rhythm for a while and just completely fell off One of my biggest mistakes was convincing myself that it’s fine because the number on the scale wasn’t changing much when in reality I was slowly losing muscle for fat And then I was traveling a bit and kept saying “I’ll get back in the gym after this trip” over and over again but there was always some excuse for why my schedule that week wasn’t “regular” enough to restart Posting this for accountability and to share how I’m feeling in this moment. I’m done thinking of fitness as a “streak” that can easily be broken, it’s a lifestyle and a mindset and it’s time that I embrace that for the long run.

it is a lifestyle and mindset ofc but also you can make it easier on yourself. been using an app called ladder since ~september for workouts and it takes away the mental overhead of planning workouts which actually makes it easier to get to the gym last thing you wanna do after a full shift in the trenches is construct a workout
