Posting this again - I think it's important that we retain "solo staker" as the definition of a node operator who validates without anything between them and the Beacon Chain contract. It is the most "solo" way of staking In contrast, "independent operators" can look like a lot

The main issue is that on CT the currency is engagement and you don't get much of it by being intellectually honest. It's much better to pander to your tribe on here if your goal is to grow your audience and "ratio" people. This platform is also not made for debates at all.

This may be a hot take, but I think it's an excellent time to build a wallet. None of the incumbents are that good and there's a lot of room to reimagine what a wallet can be and build a truly great consumer product.

Ethereum $130B staking contract was created using Tornado Cash. Torn has mostly been used for legit on-chain privacy. An example is the transaction by anon dev, deploying the contract. The repo rebuilds it using modern tech. Great for ZK education!
