Interesting to think about why projects like @drakula launch on a pre-existing but relatively new token like $DEGEN, versus rolling their own token or just launching using straight ETH $DEGEN: - ride the wave / traction / visibility - attract degen crowd Own token: - complexity w/ tokenomics - harder to bootstrap ??

Building your own audience is tough, so I love the idea of reaching established audiences in a permissionless way. Drakula's name is so fitting 🧛♂️
