Listened to a podcast talking about how people have basically always had dyslexia but it only really became apparent once inventions like the printing press made reading more widespread. Makes me wonder what potential disabilities exist now but will only display in the future with new technologies

Yeah, we’ve always been innovating faster than we could evolve. You could be pithy and say terraforming the world is easier than terraforming ourselves.

I remember reading that when newspapers transitioned from weekly to daily publications, some people were overwhelmed by the information volume. The same happened when the radio was introduced.
