Do any of you bet on sports? Why do you think political betting took off onchain before sports betting? What problems would being onchain solve for sports betting? It probably won’t help the reputation of crypto, but sports betting feels like the next obvious onchain use case.

When you think about frequency and timing of politics, it’s not as complex as sports betting so I guess it’s a lot easier to manage. Then there’s the regulatory environment, there’s just a lot more regulatory hurdle on the sports side.

On-chain sports betting can be more transparent(bc blockchain🤷🏼♀️). There’s also the problem of settlement in mainstream betting, it can instant if it’s on-chain.
