@emo.eth noicccce, I've had success with `midir` but it's not async - curious to hear what you end up using and how it goes! Rust is a wicked choice either way 🦀

taking a crack at it with midir + wmidi for convenience and tokio for async. rn using device_query for keyboard modifiers but prob will end up going midi cc for that, tbd
just have midi pass thru rn, adding global state across threads before doing the fun midi transformations atm
