My hot take re "too much investment in infra": there's too much investment in *some kinds of infra* and not enough in others, and what's actually going on is, people want to invest in "the casino" but still feel good about themselves, so they invest in the subset of infra that gets spillover profits from the casino.

Decided today that we’re not going to be working on /nook anymore. It was originally meant for us to play around with and learn new tech and has served that purpose. 

We don’t really see a path forward in continuing to build the client, so we’re going to explore some non-Farcaster ideas instead. More soon!

Just to ask, why do modules at all? Why not just add smart contracts as owners, which have whatever logic you want and call through those?

smart-contracts-as-owners are so underrated/utilized

you can patch some live bugs that way, too

eg if owner has accidental disproportionate control/permissions but everything else is fine, a contract owner can implement a stricter subset of controls

does anyone know how to set up the vscode debugger with nextjs in yarn workspaces? breakpoints are not binding and complaint threads are abundant but not particularly helpful
