@farcaster have you seen this? https://c2pa.org/ Content signing for "provenance" tracking to deal with AI generated misinfo, but at the application level. ...and it sounds like their key registry gets stored in a Microsoft subsidiary somewhere? Not "sufficiently decentralised" 😑

This. It’s mindblowing to see web3 teams like “we’re striving for a decentralised and open web!” And preach importance of things like client diversity …meanwhile pushing a web extension that only supports Chrome with 0 plans for Firefox support. “But we support Br”- Brave is literally built on chromium!
