Crypto Asset Deep Analysis｜Wormhole, $W Here is the Competitor Landscape of Wormhole. Stargate supports actual crypto asset transfer among multiple chains such as USDT and ETH. Thus, they have to build and maintain the liquidity of each asset. But, Wormhole does not support the transaction layer. They only support cross-chain messaging events. Only routing those transaction request from one chain to the other chain. COSMOS support application specific chain like LUNA which focused on UST, stable coin protocol. They don’t support other major L1 such as BSC and Solana. Eventually, this execution was big mistake because most dapps choose alternative L1 or EVM L2 to gain cheaper gas fee with lower execution costs. Building own chain for one dapp requires huge execution cots, but, only gain small benefits for gas fee. The direct competitor of Wormhole is Layer Zero.
