An interesting trend I've noticed from cold emailing over the years: the "more important" the person is, the faster they tend to answer (even if it's a no). Like, within minutes. It's crazy. 

Less well known people will either not answer at all or respond weeks / months later. 

Calibrate accordinly.

Agreed, and I think there is a huge difference how you write and format the cold email. These days, all the chatGPT approaches go straight to the bin.
