I really appreciate ambition. I think it's important for some people to be ambitious since it is often a prerequisite to doing something great. But there is this weird perversion with ambition that portrays it as some kind of moral good. It's not -- if anything, it's totally orthogonal.

Well said. Ambition can be an asset, but it can also distract you from what matters.
