What’s your favorite feature as a power user?

Downcast. UX is bloated, but so many deep features/customizability — ideal for podcast power users like me

What is indispensable about the Apple Podcasts app?  What is it missing?

I’ve used a bunch and typically avoid Apple’s own apps, but recently went back to the stock Apple Podcasts app and it’s better than pocketcasts, which was my daily driver for the past few years.

Castro (iOS) is my go-to, solely for its Inbox feature: https://arun.is/blog/double-queue/

youtube and spotify. not crazy about either but they’re both so dang convenient

AntennaPod on Android. Fully open source, available on F-Droid.

I am mostly just in the default Apple Podcasts app - I like the ability to become a paid subscriber from inside the app
