imo it’s gonna be tough to get farcaster users to adopt a proof of human/KYC system without financial incentives, i feel like all the solutions require jumping hoops which is doable but personally always bucketed these solutions as things people would only do if financially incentivized

can we just make doing web of trust a lot easier? i feel like WoT has never been really tried in a mobile-first context and i could imagine fun interactive Tinder style UIs being enough to get people to use them

So, what's your suggestion to prevent farmers (aka categorized spammers) from exploiting WoT?

a doc and general practitioner by day, a geopolitics junkie and deep onchain comms shitcaster by night and both in /doctorsphere

the humans won’t add them to their WoT so the spammers can all be friends but will be easily detectable as spammers

i think all of the solutions being discussed would still allow human farmers to farm

but you can’t ignore the fact that a lot of humans are farmers themselves and are friends with those farmer types

the spammers will add other spammers though and humans will add spammers on accident
