imo it’s gonna be tough to get farcaster users to adopt a proof of human/KYC system without financial incentives, i feel like all the solutions require jumping hoops which is doable but personally always bucketed these solutions as things people would only do if financially incentivized

can we just make doing web of trust a lot easier? i feel like WoT has never been really tried in a mobile-first context and i could imagine fun interactive Tinder style UIs being enough to get people to use them

imo it’s more about “do you actually know this person IRL or have 90%+ confidence they are real person”

it still tends to end up a cat and mouse game, not saying it's a bad idea, just that there's been deep tech explorations and equally deep tech endgames, e.g.:
