on july 4th, my dad introduced our extended family to "endurance tubing," a sport he invented. we tubed down shallow rivers for six hours under direct sunlight with no cell phones or food. unfortunately, my family couldn't handle it. we had to bail, walk barefoot across a golf course, and then hitchhike home

Went tubing behind a speed boat at a friends house a decade ago on the Fourth of July Turned out their family has a game whips people as hard as possible to fling them off I think they were being nice to me and another friend but they were brutal to their relative we came with Idk, maybe it was fun to do the boat driving?
