if you have used rainbow in the last few years, you are most likely eligible for the WalletConnect (WCT) Airdrop 🚨 but you must register for the airdrop within the next 4 days, or you won’t get any tokens 🚨 register now http://airdrop.walletconnect.network https://x.com/rainbowdotme/status/1845187219474219231

walletconnect never collected the eth addresses from its users, when users used Walletconnect they were instead tracked in analytics via a userID in order for walletconenct to actually tie those userIDs back to your actual eth address, they need you to connect to the registration site **using walletconnect**

So then this is a user id that is random per wallet install? I.e.: - If I have been connecting to apps using Rainbow all this time, but sign up for the airdrop using say Kraken Wallet (but the same blockchain address), my previous activity won't be counted? - If I have been using Wallet Connect on address A in Rainbow, and now sign up for the airdrop using a totally fresh address B in Rainbow, my activity will be counted just fine?
