it's probably good both sides have totally abandoned the principle of economic responsibility. "free shit on credit until we die" is just too compelling for the average voter, and when presented plainly tends to win. now, at least, some mutually assured destruction.

Hopefully people will change from taking that bad deal, to choosing to use our collective resources to meet our collective needs. Today instead our actual resource are used for several wars at a time, almost a thousand military bases, massive corporate subsidies and so on. Instead of just adding more credit on top like liberals and conservatives today do, we should go back to basics and reprioritize.
