If I could make one suggestion for writers on Paragraph, turn off the immediate pop-up to subscribe. It's jarring and annoying, and I'm never going to immediately subscribe to someone without reading what they have to say first. The scrolling pop-up as you read is fine, but get rid of the first one.

I get this and agree it can be jarring if they pop-up too early. Unless I'm visiting a site with the intention of signing up, I'd rather explore first. I'm very interested in other thoughts.

Good point. This is indeed a setting. I switched it off. So, you can now read and only be reminded to subscribe (if you haven't already) only when you scroll down. And on shorter posts like this one, you might even get away with the core content without seeing the subscribe pop-up: https://paragraph.xyz/@trpplffct/pop6

Not sure if writers can do that. Feels like a feature. But I get it. Will ask around.
