Losing my power badge, I’m able to fully understand the hardships of onboarding users onto this platform.

I’ve seen many people (including friends of mine) complain about how they aren’t able to get more interactions on their casts.

We are early, and we have work to do.

For more clarity, my engagement dropped by 50% once I lost the power badge. But at least I still have followers.

Others have no followers and no chance to grow. It’s quite literally a bubble of power badge users who are prioritized.

To portray the passions of people is to reveal them.

How'd you lose the power badge? 

I want to launch an mvp i've been working on but need to figure out how I can get that badge before I do.

Agree it’s so tough to get any interaction and makes me question and self conscious if it’s the content I’m putting out or the overall algorithm

Ive had one and feel the same, not that Im SUPER active but 3-5 likes isnt much motivation

Reached out to Dan and he said that I lost the power badge due to the algorithm.

Basically the algorithm says that I am not interacting with enough power badge users.

Which makes no sense to me, because I am interacting with power badge users on a daily basis.

Algorithm has a flaw, but Dan doesn’t see it that way.

I appreciate the genuine interactions a lot more even though I likely will never be a power badge user. For casters who are in the Web3 biz or need this for marketing (artists), I think it is a shame if they are crowded out by engagement hunters. You are really one of the good ones I hope you get it back micah.

I’ve been worried about this trend across crypto. Having the benefits always accrue to the most dedicated is good in theory, but it also makes breaking in very difficult. I’m sure you’ll get it back soon!

Algorithm states that if you don’t meet the minimum requirements of interactions with other power badge users, yours will get taken down

You’re g haha it’s not a big deal at all. Lost it due to a flaw in the algorithm which states that I don’t interact enough with power badge users and therefore will remove my badge
