Quiz Show is a must-watch film for me. Robert Redford masterfully explores the ethics behind a 1950s tv scandal on the show "Twenty One." The acting is also great, with Ralph Fiennes , John Turturro, Paul Scofield, and even Martin Scorsese delivering incredible performances. 4/5 Stars

My best friend, an NYU film school graduate in student debt, is trying to raise funding for his short film. As I learn more about shorts, it's clear this medium has practically 0 commercial opportunity. Which makes funding extremely difficult. The film is being supported by a non-profit which make donations eligible for a write off. Beyond that, the incentives in this space are terrible. I find it crazy that in this new era of short form video content, there's no marketplace for well produced narrative story telling. I wonder if an onchain strategy could be a solution?

Loved Challengers so went down a Luca Guadagnino rabbit hole. That dude is one horny director πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ A Bigger Splash really stood out to me. One of the best performances (if not the best) I've seen from Ralph Fiennes. Highly recommend. Beautiful shots of Sicily + some nods to the Rolling Stones.

More builders need to embrace the hyper-financialization of crypto. They act as if it's not cool to care about the money. Guess what. The mainstream loves money. They don't love shitty products, scams, and being treated like lab mice.

Hot take but Furiosa was as good as Fury Road, if not better. Just as many incredible action scenes, but with more narrative and backstory. Really enjoyed it!
