yeah, there were a few women of color on that spaceship — i think here I’m using the term white feminism to refer to a framework that tends to center women who already have proximity to power (through whiteness, wealth, status), while leaving oppressive systems intact. so yes it’s also about class, access, and how elite women (white or not) still benefit from and help uphold those systems. that kind of feminism misses the point.
