Nouns DAO will go broke next year.
If current trends continue, the DAO will face major financial strain. While our treasury spending has remained consistent, auction revenues have plummeted. Diversifying our revenue streams is no longer a nice to have. Some sobering statistics from the past 30 days: * Auction Proceeds: 100.2 ETH * Spending: 69.5 ETH + 2 nouns (data from Camp)
But…. there are five upcoming proposals starting this week with a total ETH request of ~171 ETH. We can remain complacent and hope auction revenue increases, or take proactive steps to seek out the future of the DAO. The choice is ours.

While you illustrate a good visualization of the ecosystem’s flow and highlight the leaking pipe… The language isn’t neutral about it. NFTs have been on a downtrend for a long time and marketing doesn’t always = conversion rate. Marketing can’t turn off the brain filter once it decides it’s not for them. So let’s say sales do plummet in three months time, and the treasury is down 50%. We know marketing and brand recognition does not always = Conversions. What do we do? Cut down on spending? Only spend on things that are marketing? What if it’s the last $1,000 in the treasury. Do you spend it on marketing at hopes of getting more revenue and squeeze the life out the pipes? Or do you hail mary and do something great for someone someplace and end it? These are critical convex/concave choices that come with owning a business. Knowing what the majority thinks on decisions like that could help improve direction of thought. My solution: A more clear call-to-action. If a DAOs funds are

Ya I think this is arguing that we should be more mindful of spend, have clearer CTAs (like you mention) and is actually critical of marketing spend. Marketing is traditionally not paid off for nouns, so it ends up being wasteful and pulls for the treasury without a clear reward
