I feel like there might have been a previous session that you guys talked about OpenRank vs. FarRank? Is there a recording I can listen to? šŸ–x75 20 $Degen 55 $Aba 20 $Wild 30šŸ‘ šŸŽ

We lost a lot of recordings because we talked too long sadly.

Do you have any resources you can point me towards to understand OpenRank vs. FarRank better. We're looking at adding that layer to Scoop3 (maybe), but I noticed even for my own rank, there's a difference of 500. Trying to understand the methodology a little better, and if we should even incorporate this at all. I know it's going to be a little cryptic, but I suspect some people like you or other power users have been able to discern what each of them weigh more heavily.

Just the official docs. https://docs.openrank.com/ There used to be some cool dashboards but many of them are gone since degen leaned further away from their score.

Also @rjs wrote a lot about it in his old degen ultimate guides. But this was back when it weighed heavier. He did some cool info graphics.

openrank uses a pagerank style of ranking users based on quality engagement received. the algo, weights, seed peers are opensource, and the resulting scores are verifiable by design. happy to answer any specific questions :)
