So I’m starting to see the dark side of the quote cast meta. Quote casts are powerful ways to get the attention of the OG caster, but only when used to add to the conversation and try to get more eyes on it. 

When it’s used to ask a question to the original caster instead of replying to them and asking directly, it feels gross and I don’t like it. What is the point of this? It feels like shallow engagement bait rather than adding to the conversation. I hope this is not the new trend. Most will ignore it.

Yeah, def replying with a QC is poor etiquette unless if it’s being used to drive a larger conversation (directed at everybody vs one person)

It’s definitely getting weird. Someone called me out for ignoring them and they didn’t reply to me. They QCed me and asked a question that apparently was aimed at me. How am I supposed to know that?
