Whatās interesting to me about Partiful is not the Palantir past of the founders but their public insistence that they donāt have fiduciary duties They do! I donāt care what they say, they do! They do in fact have a responsibility to recoup capital. They arenāt a charity. I dislike this so much although I have benefited from it. Over time I think this type of posture makes for irresponsible founders and consumers inured to the idea that they ādeserveā free lunches

Thereās a fine line between being disruptive and being dismissive of responsibility. Founders playing the āno fiduciary dutyā card might think itās edgy, but it signals a deeper issue of accountability in startup culture
