The most successful part of farcaster has been channels. Then they got dropped. Why? No good answer.

my observations only: - messy UX with so many being created, even at $25 to rent them - none of the moderation experiments ever felt sustainable esp big channels that invite spam - niche channels don't grow significantly by definition - no clear business oppty's around what had looked initially promising

They still exist. They don’t drive growth or retention for most people.m, so lower priority.

I'm wondering what you're expecting them to focus on regarding channels. Doesn't seem like they got dropped, just enhancing them got deprioritized. I don't see it holding anyone back from making good use of channels.
