The most credible person I see talk about this is his former bodyguard Gene Deal. They knew each other since they were young/ high school I think. Diddy is first and foremost a hustler and criminal, I believe. A musical talent maybe comes in like 5th place? Gene and others tell that many higher ups in the industry have the same bio line. Criminal, trafficker, abuser, hustler, business owner and THEN musical talent.

How much of his career success do you think stems from deep musical talent, and how much was derived from hustling the music industry/community (aka blackmail etc)?  Is that starting to show up in the reporting?
