how often do you plan on coming back to the codebase? Swift: your app will still compile in a year or two RN: your app will need tons of sdk updates to compile again in 6 months if you’re planning on working on it continuously RN is great though

If you are purely wanting to work only with iOS, go with Swift. You’ll be grateful you did. There’s a learning curve, specially if you dive into Swift 6.

i really like SwiftUI, but haven't used React Native SwiftUI definitely still has some limitations and may require some annoyance + non-Swift code depending on the features you need

If you’re looking to publish only for iOS then go swift. If you want to publish for android in the future or even both react native might be the way to go.
